COUNTDOWN is going to be at the upcoming ICOPA 14th International Congress of Parasitology taking place in Daegu, South Korea from 19th - 24th August 2018.
Prof Margaret Gyapong will be giving a plenary on 'Contextual complexities underlying Lymphatic Filariasis Hotspots in Africa: A Case Study from Ghana.'
We have a series of presentations around schistosomiasis linking with the environment and transmission surveillance, urogenital schistosomiasis and new developments that could advance Praziquantel treatment for Paediatric Schistosomiasis. These will be led and presented in keynote presentations by Professor Russell Stothard and Professor Louis-Albert Tchuem Tchuenté.
There will be related work on LF with links to wolbachia which will be presented in a keynote by Dr Joe Turner.
