ISNTD d³ - Drug discovery, development & diagnostics for NTDs - London, United Kingdom

This year, International Society of Neglected Tropical Diseases' d³ event will focus on recent developments, gaps and future needs of paediatric drug discovery, treatments and diagnostics in context of global health as well as broader challenges.

COUNTDOWN's Dr Lucas Cunningham will present research conducted in collaboration with the Global Polio Laboratory Network (GPLN) in Ghana titled 'Piloting the use of the Global Polio Laboratory Network to advance molecular diagnostics of helminthiasis'. A paper on expanding molecular diagnostics of helminthiasis which offers more background into this work was published early this year in the PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases journal.  Dr Lisa Reimer will present on the 'Xenosurveillance for the detection of NTDs'.
