Kevin is a research assistant working on the Nigeria COUNTDOWN health economics stream of work with SightSavers in Kaduna, to support the design of research studies (in collaboration with LSTM) to ensure they are conducted with methodological rigour and retain relevance.
He obtained a BSc and an MSc in Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State.
Following his studies, Kevin worked as a teacher of Economics and mathematics in two secondary schools. He then moved to Kaduna State Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, working as an extension agent and field volunteer.
Kevin is published in and presented at conferences on the impact of non-performing loans in Nigeria. He is currently conducting an empirical analysis of cholera outbreak in Nigeria, especially looking at the economic cost of epidemics.
