Dr Stephen B. Kennedy

He is an Aspen Institute fellow and has collaborated on several behavioral-driven HIV/AIDS prevention-related projects on adolescents, young adults, incarcerated males, men who have sex with men (MSM), and minority populations, both domestically and internationally.

He is the co-principal investigator (Co-PI) of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) Vaccine Trial as well as a coordinator for EVD research programmes. 

He has designed behavioural-driven risk reduction studies; developing, implementing and evaluating risk reduction intervention programmes; performing both qualitative and quantitative assessments; implementing and evaluating community-focused intervention programmes.

Dr Kennedy is passionate about rigorous, quality and effective research. This is the reason why he created UL-PIRE, an institution that will produce research that Liberia can be proud of internationally.
