Francis Balungnaa Dhari Veriegh is a Postgraduate Research Assistant at the Biomedical and Public Health Unit of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research- Water Research Institute (CSIR-WRI). He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Ghana in 2006, a Master’s degree in medical parasitology and entomology in 2010, also from the University of Ghana.
He has extensive experience in infectious diseases management, with various expertise including, medical parasitology, vector biology, entomopathogens and molecular genetics. Using these expertise’s, his research focuses on drug efficacy and parasitological responses to chemotherapeutic agents for Neglected Tropical Diseases, and drug resistance to facilitate monitoring and surveillance of infectious diseases.
He is currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Parasitology and Entomology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, Ghana.
