Alex NGUEPKAP Holds a Master Degree in Cartography, Remote Sensing and GIS from the University of Yaoundé I and a Master in Geography from the University of Dschang, Cameroon.
He has gained a lot of experience in GIS and mapping through his involvement in several developmental projects in Cameroon. This bank of experience is as a result of various responsibilities such as being GIS Technician for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Topographer-Cartographer at Electricité de France (EDF) in addition with the Central Bureau of the Census and Population Studies (BUCREP-Cameroon).
Having worked for some time now around challenges related to environmental sustainable management, he has developed further interest in health geography. He is of the notion that multidisciplinary approaches are crucial to finding solutions in order to improve the health of populations in general, most especially in developing countries.
Alex currently works for COUNTDOWN (Yaoundé Team) as GIS and DataBase Manager.
