Manfred Asiedu Dakorah

Manfred is a research assistant at the Biomedical and Public Health Research Unit of the Environmental Biology and Health Division of Water Research Institute in Accra. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Cape Coast.

His current areas of expertise include making statistical analysis and assessment of diseases such as Onchocerciasis, Schistosomiasis, Lymphatic Filariasis, Soil-Transmitted Helminthiasis (STH) and Malaria. His broad interests in data collection and entry, sample collection saw him involved in mass drug administration for Schistosomiasis and STH endemic communities as part of the epidemiological work. he has conducted statistical investigations on adverse drug reactions to participants and drug efficacy. 

He is currently working on NIH project as a research assistant and is responsible for providing data/statistics management in accordance with all standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.

Has worked with ArcGIS, SPSS, MINITAB, R-Studio, OCTAVE and ODK.

His career goal is to work with a team in a challenging and competitive environment where he can improve his knowledge, skills and capabilities in the field of biostatistics and put them to use for the development of the world.
