Dr Adekeye has been involved with the Tropical Diseases Research of World Health Organisation on several funded studies as a social scientist, co-investigator, and facilitator for qualitative data management. USAID, Sightsavers (investigator and social scientist), African Program for Onchocerciasis Control (social scientist and, co-investigator), UNDP, DFID and EUPRIME. He has been involved in monitoring and evaluating programs within Nigeria and other African countries.
He holds a Diploma in law (DIL) from the Ahmadu Bello University, a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Jos and a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Ibadan . Other training received includes qualitative software analysis, and SPSS.
Dr Adekeye is currently Chief Clinical Psychologist and head of Psychology unit of the department of Psychiatry ABUTH Shika Zaria. He is an honorary research fellow at the Federal Neuro-psychiatric hospital Barnawa-Kaduna. He has an associate lecturer in the department of Psychology University of Ibadan.
He has published papers in both local and international journals with a lot of presentations at seminars and workshops.
