Dr Isiyaku holds a doctorate degree in Zoology specializing in Entomology and Parasitology from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State Nigeria. He started his career as a Research Officer in the Nigeria Institute of Trypanosomiasis and Onchocerciasis Research Institute in Kaduna in 1992 and joined Sightsavers in 1997as a Project Officer in the Nigeria Country Officer and rose through the ranks to become Country Director in 2009. He has over two decade experience in programme management and operational research. Has good technical knowledge of research in Neglected Tropical Diseases and control activities.
Sunday has participated in many WHO/TDR multi-disciplinary and multi-country studies on NTDs and delivery of community health programmes.
